Hello SWAT, Attached is the 2021 Long Course Schedule. We are happy to announce that we can provide our swimmers with excellent training space this summer. It has been two years since we have had a steady and consistent training schedule for our swimmers. First in 2019 we had the renovations at Whitworth and of course 2020 with the COVID interruptions. Fazzari’s Meet Results We hope everyone had a great time at the Fazzari’s Invite this past weekend in Lewiston. SWAT had over 70 swimmers attend the meet. This was a big weekend for our team. Not only was this was the first long course competition in almost two years, it is also the first time since 2019 the entire team has traveled and competed together. Congratulations SWAT on a successful season opener! 13 and Over swimmers and 12 & Under girls got the season off to a great start this past weekend. Hello SWAT, It has come to our attention that a CAST team member, that usually trains at the KROC Center in Coeur D’Alene has tested positive for COVID-19. Though most of our swimmers stopped travelling to CDA two weeks ago when we started Schedule C at Whitworth there have been several who have continued traveling to CDA for additional lane space. The CDA swimmer in question became infected through a coworker and was job related, not Aquatic (KROC) Center related. Said swimmer also has not been to practice for a...
Hello SWAT, Things have changed again but the good news is that we're still on for our start date this coming Monday, June 22nd. What has changed is the restrictions on our lane numbers and/or number of swimmers allowed in the pool at once. We are now only allowed Five swimmers in the pool at a time. That is five in the entire facility. Siblings are not allowed to swim in the same lane together and we can only swim one to a lane in five lanes. Given these new...
