2022 Outstanding Service Award

Congratulations to Robert Fry, recipient of the 2022 Outstanding Service Award!

Robert Fry has been a member of Iowa Swimming as an official for the past 7 years. During this time, he has become a leader to many on and off deck. He has also received his National Level of officiating in many areas of USA Swimming.

Robert has volunteered many hours going above and beyond working meets of all levels.  He has shown that he is willing to travel to all areas of the LSC regardless of the size of the meet. When a club is in need, he does whatever possible to help.

Robert has also been actively involved with the LSC’s governance. He serves on both the LSC’s Officials Committee and the LSC’s Sanctioning Committee. With the Officials Committee, he played an integral part in rewriting and updating Section G of IASI Policies and Procedures (the Officials section). He also has been instrumental in the recruitment and training of officials within our LSC. And most recently, he has stepped up to help the LSC by serving on the Sanctioning Committee.
