'25-'26 Swim Team Payment Information

Team dues vary depending on which Group or 'Session' for which you are registering.  To view additional fees CLICK HERE

SESSIONS

  • Year Round: September to the 1st weekend in August (Gold II and above)
  • Sept to May: September to Memorial Day Weekend (available to all groups EXCEPT Platinum which is a year-round program)
  • Seasonal: 12 week sessions which take place in the Fall, Winter, and Spring and are only available to Bronze and our 'II' groups (Bronze, Silver II, Gold II, Gold Select II, Senior II)
  • Summer:  The summer session is 10 weeks long and goes from Memorial Day to the 1st weekend in August. Registration for the summer opens in May and September to May and Seasonal swimmers can add this on to their training if they do not register for Year-Round in the Fall.
  • 10U Clinics:  Summer of 2026, we will do a 10 & Under clinic to help our younger swimmers work on technique training.  Registration and more information for those clinics will be sent out in May of 2026

Payment Options  -

Sept to May or Year-Round swimmers will have 2 payment options for the 2025/26 swim season - the  9-Month payment plan or the option to   Pay in Full.  A $200 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of registration and is deducted from the total amount due.
 
Seasonal Swimmers will select the 'Pay in Full' option and pay a $200 non-refundable deposit at the time of registration.  The balance will be due on the 1  st of the following month.
  • A Uniform Fee of $150 for the Platinum Group and $80 for all Sept to May and Year-Round swimmers will be included in your payment plan.  Uniform includes 2 x Team Shirts (1 orange, 1 blue), 2 Team Caps (1 orange, 1 blue), 1 Team Suit.  Platinum swimmers will also receive a sweatsuit and a team bag.
  • Uniforms are not included in the Seasonal Team pricing.  Seasonal swimmers may purchase a uniform for $80.  All swimmers may purchase the team sweatsuit for an additional $80

9-Month Payment plan – Available to all Sept to May and Year Round swimmers

  • Typically starts Sept 1st and goes until May 1st. If you register after Sept 1st, it will start on Oct 1st and go until June 1st.
  • (team dues + uniform fees - $200 deposit)/9months
    • i.e., Platinum = $3350 + 150 – 200 = $3300/9 = $367/mo

***The 9-month payment plan is NOT a month-to-month swim option. All swimmers are still required to pay the balance of their fees if they withdraw after February. For Cancellation and Refund Policies, go to SJAC Financial Policies.

  • Due on Sept 1st for all Fall Programs or the 1st of the first month following registration.

    • i.e., Gold I (Sept to May) = $2015 + 80 – 200 = $1895
    • Seasonal II teams will only have the option to ‘Pay In Full’ (Total team fees - $200 deposit)

ADDITIONAL FEES:

  • NL Aquatics Membership - Please not that the NLAquatics Membership is a separate system and does not end when your child stops swimming.  
    • Each family must maintain an NL Aquatic Center Family Membership while on the team. NL Aquatics offers a discounted membership to swimmers on the SJAC Swim Team, Masters team and/or lesson program.  You can sign up for membership by CLICKING HERE or downloading the app. Please select ‘SJAC Family Membership (Single Child)' ($35/mo) for families with 1 child; and ‘SJAC Family Membership (multi-child)' ($45/mo) for families with 2 or more children. 
    • CLICK HERE for our membership and cancellation policies.   You must email [email protected] 30 days prior to the date you would like to cancel.
  • USA Swimming Registration:  Swimmers will be required to maintain a USA Swimming Registration. USAS Registration opens Sept 1st and a link/instructions to register will be sent at that time.  YOU MAY NOT PARTICIPATE IN PRACTICES UNLESS YOU ARE REGISERED WITH USA SWIMMING. 
  • Service Hour Fee: SJAC swim families will be required to complete volunteer hours if your child competes in meets at the NL Aquatic Center.  This policy is set by the SJAC Parent Committee and more information can be found here - VOLUNTEER POLICIES.
  • Administrative Charge: A $30 Administrative fee will be charged for any changes made after registration has been processed... i.e. changing groups, cancellations, refund by check, pro-rated team fees, etc.
  • Swim Meets - All fees associated with swim meets (except for the Team Travel Fees) can be found by selecting the meet from the 'MEETS/EVENTS page’, and then clicking the link under 'Forms/Documents' 
    • Meet Fees - all Swim Meets charge a fee per event.  Depending on the meet and the venue, there may also be a 'per swimmer' charge (in lieu of charging admissions at the event), a facility fee, travel fee charged by the host team, etc.  
    • Travel Fees - To help us offset the expense of travel meets, we will be assessing a team travel fee of no more than $30/swimmer/day for all swimmers attending travel meets.  This is in addition to any fees assessed by the host team or team meals hosted by SJAC.  For more information on Travel Fees and policies, CLICK HERE
  • Credit Card and ACH Transaction Fees:  Credit Card fees are currently at 2.95% + $.30/transaction; ACH Fees are currently $1.30/transactions.  There is no fee to pay by check.

College Swimmers

SJAC College Swimmers who wish to swim with us will be charged $400 for the year to swim with the team during the summer and all holiday breaks.  All swimmers MUST be registered with USA Swimming and have completed the Athlete Protection Training (free of charge).  Contact[email protected] for the link to register with USA Swimming and attach to SJAC.  Please give us 3 weeks notice of cancellation or you will be charged until we are notified.  If you have questions, please contact info [email protected]
