May 11, 2023 marked the official end of the Covid-19 Pandemic. The need for a detailed H & S plan is no longer required. HHAA follows the direction of the Hatboro-Horsham School District (HHSD).
HHAA requests that parents use the same criteria for keeping swimmers home as the HHSD;

In summary:
How do I know when to keep my child home from school?
If your child wakes up not feeling well, please use the following as guidelines for keeping him/her home from school.
-
Temperature of 100 degrees or greater and then 24 hours after the temperature returns to normal without taking medication
-
Nausea or vomiting and then 24 hours after the vomiting has subsided
-
Diarrhea and then 24 hours after the diarrhea has subsided
In order to help in the prevention or reduction of the spreading of infections, viruses, or flu, children should not come to school when they are not feeling well. A sick child is not able to concentrate and the learning is compromised. Additionally, keeping a sick child home from school will help reduce the spread of germs and illnesses that could spread to others if the child were to remain in school. If your child has any of the above findings or complaints, they will be sent home from school.
Below is also a good resource on minimizing risk with respiratory diseases.
