We’re excited to share some big news with you — Michael McBryan has been named the new Head Coach of HHAA!
Coaches Kip and Meghan are both remaining on staff and will continue to work closely with Mike. We are thrilled to have all three of them as we move forward along with our strong group of assistant coaches.
Coach Mike has been on deck all year and is ready to take on a deeper role within our club and we are very excited for his commitment and enthusiasm to guide HHAA into the future.
Mike’s swimming journey began at Central Bucks Swim Team and continued at LaSalle College High School. He went on to swim for the University of North Carolina, where he was team captain and competed at the 2016 Olympic Trials and the 2018 NCAA Championships.
Mike began his coaching career while at UNC, working with Club Kickstart to develop young swimmers in both technique and race readiness. After graduating, he joined Nation’s Capital Swim Club (NCAP) in Washington, D.C., serving as Head Age Group Coach, where he helped lead one of the nation’s top age group programs. While working at NCAP, he also taught private technical instruction at SwimLabs, mastering stroke mechanics and technical efficiency within a wide range of ages and skills.
Mike later returned to his roots in 2020, serving as Head Coach for Central Bucks Swim Team. Under his leadership, the program saw growth in registrations, team culture, and performance. His coaching style blends technical precision with aggressive event focused training and he shares a deep commitment to building athlete confidence within a positive team environment.
Coach Mike loved his year on deck with HHAA and as an assistant coach for the Hatters. We are confident he will help lead our swimmers to new heights.
Please join us in welcoming Coach Mike to this new position!
