August 2021 Eastern Zone Long Course Age Group Championship

Congratulations to Emery Alderson, Ben Baumgardner and Eila Spaman!! 

These swimmers competed in the 2021 Eastern Zone Long Course Age Group Championship Meet from August 4th-7th at the Collegiate School Aquatic Center in Richmond, VA.  This was an age-group all-star meet in which swimmers were chosen based on applications and rankings in the Middle Atlantic Region.  It was quite an honor for these 3 swimmers to be selected! 

Ben was on the 10&U boys team swimming the 50, 100, 200 and 400 free, 50 and 100 breast, 50 fly and 200 IM with top 6 or better finishes in all.  He was also selected to be on the 200 and 400 medley relay teams both of which finished 2d place overall, as well as the 200 and 400 free relay teams, which placed 4th and 2d respectively.   

Emery was on the 10&U girls team swimming the 400 free.  Emery was also selected to be on the 200 free relay team, which finished 4th overall. 

Eila was on the 12&U girls team swimming the 50 free finishing 8th overall.  Eila, too, was selected to swim on the 200 medley relay team, which finished 1st overall. 

We are very proud of our swimmers and how they represented HHAA and MA in this special meet!
