The Rochester Rapids Swim Team is an age group USA Swimming team that strives to create competitive opportunities for youth in our diverse Rochester community. We are located in the City of Rochester, NY, and practice at the Adams Street R-Center Pool near downtown Rochester.

The goal of our team is to provide every member an opportunity to improve swimming skills and achieve success at his or her level of ability, from those just learning to swim to top-level competitors. We work to make the sport of swimming accessible to all. Financial assistance is available.

Our coaches, as members of the American Swimming Coaches Association, have access to the most comprehensive training and certification program for youth coaches of any sport in the United States. They provide assurances that the time children spend swimming will be quality time. We are a non-profit club, run by its elected Board of Directors which meets each month. All members are welcome at each meeting and encouraged to be involved in team activities and fundraisers.

New swimmers wishing to try the team can sign up for the season or for a 2-week free trial.  We look forward to welcoming you to the Rapids family!
