We are all disappointed in the abrupt and unanticipated end to our short course season due to the current pandemic. While this hiatus from training has been frustrating and disappointing, we are truly saddened for our graduating seniors who had their final season, championship meets, celebrations, and good-byes robbed from them by this terrible virus. Hope you are all hanging in there. In our last communication, we were optimistically shooting for a May 1st start, but that’s obviously been put on hold. While we are beginning to hear mumblings of some things restarting, we are simply not there yet. Updates regarding meets for this summer's Long-Course season: Both the Eastern Zone Senior and Age Group championships have been cancelled for this summer. USA Swimming has mandated that no meet sanctions will be issued for competition until a date specified by USA Swimming. The decision to open competition is being reviewed regularly by the Board of USA Swimming. Currently there are to be no meets before 31 May 2020. USA Swimming has created a series of programs for swimmers, parents, and coaches. Geared towards the competitive swimmer, lesson and pre-team participants are welcomed to check it out. We will publish the weekly curriculum every Sunday and encourage everyone to participate! Stay "in the swim"!

Regarding our upcoming Spring/Summer season for lessons, Pre-Team, and Swim Team: following national guidelines, we will be backing up the start date from 4/20 to 5/1. We received notice on Saturday of Kittatinny’s closing and just today that TVRC is doing the same.
