Many folks have been reaching out regarding registration info for the upcoming Fall/Winter season. Ordinarily this information would have been published weeks ago, but due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis we are still waiting on word from our training facilities which all remain closed at this time. As you may be aware, Governor Murphy only recently allowed indoor pools to reopen (with many restrictions); the next steps are for the pool facilities to begin allowing activities to resume, and the local boards of health to be onboard. This issue is...

We are all disappointed in the abrupt and unanticipated end to our short course season due to the current pandemic. While this hiatus from training has been frustrating and disappointing, we are truly saddened for our graduating seniors who had their final season, championship meets, celebrations, and good-byes robbed from them by this terrible virus. This group of graduates took a leap of faith joining our fledgling team and in many ways were instrumental is creating our culture of success. Each one of them has left their mark and will...

Hope you are all hanging in there. In our last communication, we were optimistically shooting for a May 1st start, but that’s obviously been put on hold. While we are beginning to hear mumblings of some things restarting, we are simply not there yet. We have a few contingencies lined-up depending upon what the future may bring ranging from mini-season/session, to week-long clinics, to preparing for a fresh new start in the fall. In the meantime, we encourage our athletes to participate in our free “NJB At-Home Program” with wide-ranging...

Updates regarding meets for this summer's Long-Course season: Both the Eastern Zone Senior and Age Group championships have been cancelled for this summer. USA Swimming has mandated that no meet sanctions will be issued for competition until a date specified by USA Swimming. The decision to open competition is being reviewed regularly by the Board of USA Swimming. Currently there are to be no meets before 31 May 2020. It is USA Swimming’s intent to open competition on the same day for all member teams throughout the country. We will...

USA Swimming has created a series of programs for swimmers, parents, and coaches. Geared towards the competitive swimmer, lesson and pre-team participants are welcomed to check it out. We will publish the weekly curriculum every Sunday and encourage everyone to participate! Stay "in the swim"!

Regarding our upcoming Spring/Summer season for lessons, Pre-Team, and Swim Team: following national guidelines, we will be backing up the start date from 4/20 to 5/1. We are watching how this situation continues to unfold and will keep you all updated each week. In the meantime, check out our NEW! NJB 'At-Home' Program and stay involved.

Dear NJB swimmers, coaches, and families; I regret to inform everyone that we unfortunately have to end all lessons, pre-team, practices, and team functions for the remainder of our short-course season. We received notice on Saturday of Kittatinny’s closing and just today that TVRC is doing the same. Furthermore, we have made the difficult decision to postpone our Banquet on April 3rd due to the serious nature of this epidemic and to comply with CDC and health department guidelines limiting large gatherings. We will be reaching out to those registered...
