Some of our swimmers attended this season’s 13 & Over Bronze Championships this past weekend at the John Witherspoon Pool in Princeton over the weekend. A great time was had by all at our Session 2 NJB Junior Jam. Our PreTeamers joined our Junior group for a fun meet at Kittatinny with some great swims! Congratulations to our 12&Unders who ripped it up at the SIlver Bronze Championships this past weekend at Newark Academy! In a season full of great accomplishments, they proved they weren’t done showing off yet, touching in 9 Top-6 finishes and a bunch of personal bests! Our swimmers hit the blocks for one last regular-season meet of our short-course season at the JAC Winter Finale at the Jersey Aquatic Center in New Providence this past weekend. They joined nine other teams for some great racing that included Prelims/Finals and Timed Finals, sprints and distance, and everything in between! On Tuesday, February 20th, the Parents Committee will be holding an ice cream social at the end of practice for our swimmers as we finish out a great season! Also, we will be holding one last swim swap so bring out any swim suits, swag and equipment that you no longer use. Stop by the table on deck to drop off items and possibly pick up some new ones! Congrats to all our swimmers and good luck at championships!!

In our first of two back-to-back weekends in Montgomery, our ‘Cudas traveled to Valley Central High School for the New York Sharks’ January Blitz, and our swimmers didn’t hold back. We had a large turnout at this meet, and our swimmers had drops galore. Out of our 117 individual splashes, an incredible 55 were Personal Bests. Our swimmers traveled north to Ithaca College this past weekend to join 26 other teams at the CNY Invitational hosted by the Syracuse Chargers. This Prelims/Finals meet was an opportunity for some fast swimming amongst swimmers throughout the region. Our 14 attending swimmers did amazing! Our swimmers prepared for this mid-season meet, and it payed off- our 76 splashes resulted in trips to finals, top places, personal bests, new club records, and a few meet high-point winners! There was a lot of fast swimming this weekend at the BB Snowflake meet at Rutgers University. Our Barracudas joined 11 other teams for some pre-holiday racing, and came away with a bunch of fantastic swims! By the end of the weekend, our 15 NJB swimmers had accumulated 23 Personal Bests out of our 44 splashes.
