Volunteer Policy

To run a successful year-round swim team, Streamline Aquatic Club (STAC) requires parents/legal guardians to help run swim meets and time at meets our team attends.

Parents or Legal Guardians must commit to working all swim meets that Streamline Aquatics Club hosts or attends involving their child. Parents or legal guardians who do not work their assigned meet(s) will jeopardize their child's status on STAC. STAC's volunteer coordinator will not respond to emails stating that you cannot work when assigned.  Anyone who fails to complete their volunteer assignment and does not secure a suitable replacement will be fined $150 per occasion, AND the swimmer may be removed from the meet. Finding a replacement for a volunteer job is the sole responsibility of the person who volunteered or was assigned. A volunteer is not removed from a job if a swimmer scratches.

Any family whose swimmer does not attend meets during the current swim season is still required to volunteer. There will be events where STAC needs volunteers outside of meets; those families are expected to sign up to help.

Swimmers will not be placed on the roster for the following swim season if their parents or legal guardians do not contribute and volunteer during the current season.

Required: Volunteers must read and comply with the Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policy (MAAPP) to volunteer in any capacity with STAC swimmers.
