Good Evening, There was a sign on the door at NMSU this evening, that the pool will not be available during our scheduled practice times Saturday (9/9). Good Morning, On Friday, I would like the Black, White, Silver and Maroon Groups to be at the NMSU aquatic center for a combined practice from 6:15 - 7:30 PM. We will be conducting stations working on Starts and Turns for all the swimmers. The coaches and Senior swimmers will all be there helping work on all of the details. Good Afternoon, As promised, once I had our new coaches hired I would modify the practice schedule. Please welcome Emilee Ferrari and Kathryn Gyde. They are members of the NMSU swim team and will be working with the Black, White and Silver Groups. I'm excited they are joining us, and look forward to their contributions to the team. Good Afternoon, While I'm excited to resume practice next week, I've discovered that the NMSU Aquatic Center will be closed on Monday and Tuesday. Good Morning, Here is the tentative fall practice schedule. I'm in need of hiring a new coach as B'Elanna is off to Korea to be an English teacher. Exciting but sad news. I've had 3 interviews already and we are publishing an advertisement to go out but so far no luck. If anyone knows a strong candidate please let me know ! Good Afternoon, The plan is to stick with the current practice schedule thru July 29th. We will then take a 2-week break and resume practice Aug 14th. I will get new fall schedules out prior to that. I will be out of town at the Senior Western Zone Meet in Fresno, CA July 24th - 30th. During that week, the Senior Group members should attend the Maroon Group practices.
