MAKO Aquatics Club — Safety Action Plan
We partner with coaches, lifeguards, parents, and swimmers to create a safe environment at all facilities. Most injuries on deck are caused by running or roughhousing — we prevent both with clear expectations and active supervision.
- Lifeguards on Duty: Certified lifeguards are present whenever MAKO trains.
- Emergencies: Contact the nearest coach or lifeguard immediately, and call 911 if needed. The front desk can assist. RRAC is equipped with an AED.
- Parent Escort: Please escort younger swimmers through entrances and locker rooms to meet their coach; do the same at pickup.
- Supervision: If you will be late or away during practice, notify the coach and identify another parent as an emergency contact.
