Team Progress and Upcoming Dates

Team,

Our team is now the second largest team in New Mexico! While we are growing in the strength of numbers we are staying focused on what really makes us strong. Working on the fundamentals, the technique, the focus, and the fun of swimming.

We swam our first meet and rocked all swims. We had a lot of PRs broken and we did it with better swim efficiency then ever before! (we also did it when we aren't even close to being in shape). Lets continue to build on this great momentum for the rest of the season.

Here is a reminder of some upcoming dates:

• Today the pool is closed due to the holiday
• October 24th is the last day to register for our MAKO Veteran's Day Classic.
  • Since this is our meet the time standards do not apply to our team. You can sign your swimmer up for the meet even if they don't have qualifying times. Please limit these non-qualifying swims to only 50s though.
  • On the event page you can also sign up to volunteer. Please go on there and check out how you can help the team with this meet.
• October 27th We will be switching to our high school season schedule. Practice times shouldn't change much for most but lane assignments will be adjusted. (more info to come)
• October 31st is our Halloween Party from 5pm-7pm
  • We will have games and costume contests
  • Top 3 winners of the costume contest gets team gear bucks!
  • This will also be a potluck. dishes needed will be assigned by last name. More info will be sent out later
• November 1st-2nd is our MAKO Veteran's Day Meet
