Life Time Swim Dallas offers training for swimmers of all ages and competitive levels. We gear our athletes towards a challenging regimen that will develop and enhance their individual ability.

 

 

Bronze - 

$135/month

The Bronze Level provides younger swimmers the opportunity to develop fundamental skills in racing to include learning the four competitive strokes, the correct starts, and proper turns.  Knowledge of all 4 competitive strokes is required. Although participation in other sports and activities is normal, swimmers are encouraged to attend a minimum 3 practices a week. Good attendance is one of the considerations for promotion. Meet availability is once a month and is highly encouraged. Swimmers MUST be USA Swimming Members in good standing.

Placement into the Bronze Level:

  • 6-12 years of age
  • Can swim 50 yards freestyle with flip turn and bilateral breathing
  • Can swim 50 yards backstroke legally with flip turn
  • Can swim 50 yards butterfly and breaststroke legally with open turn
  • Can read and understand a pace clock

Silver - 

$155/Month

The Silver Level focuses on continued development in stroke technique and efficiency. Aerobic training will be introduced. Swimmers are required to attend at least 4 practices a week. Regular attendance is necessary to build a foundation for continued improvement and keeping up with the rest of the level as they advance. Meet availability is once a month and is expected. Swimmers MUST be USA Swimming Members in good standing.

Placement into the Silver Level:

  • 9-12 years of age
  • Has demonstrated legal technique in all four strokes.
  • Has demonstrated on a daily basis the desire and ability to perform at a higher level.
  • Has coaches recommendations
  • Can race all 4 strokes under 1 minute.
  • Can train 3x100 IMs at 3:00 minutes
  • 8 & Under swimmers can be promoted to Silver if they have a strong attendance record (4 days a week), have demonstrated on a daily basis the desire and ability to perform at higher level and have shown the maturity to work with older swimmers.

Gold

$175/month

The Gold Level continues to refine stroke technique and efficiency. The staples of the workout include longer freestyle and IM sets to enforce a strong foundation in aerobic training. Strong workout habits are taught and swimmers are expected to attend a minimum 5 workouts a week. Drylands are offered at this level. Meet availability is once a month and is required. Swimmers MUST be USA Swimming Members in good standing.

 

Placement into the Gold Level:

  • 10 years of age or older.
  • Has a demonstrated on a daily basis the desire and ability to perform at a higher level.
  • Has Coaches’ recommendations
  • Can train 8x50 IM Order @ 1:10
  • Can legally compete the 200IM and the 500 Freestyle
  • Typical Standards achieved to make this group

9-10 – 3 “BB” times or 1 “A” time

11-12- 3 “B” times or 1 “BB” time

  • *9 year olds can move if they have strong attendance (4 - 5 days a week), have demonstrated on a daily basis the desire and ability to perform at a higher level and have shown maturity to work with older swimmers.

Senior

$200/Month

The Senior Level provides a rigorous regimen inclusive of continued efficient stroke technique for swimmers who have made a strong commitment to the sport of swimming. Members in this level are focused on advanced competition with strong qualifying standards such as Sectional, Junior Olympic, or Futures times.

Placement in the Senior Level:

  • 13 years of age or older.
  • Demonstrates on a daily basis the desire and ability to perform at a higher level.
  • Coaches’ recommendations.
  • Typically has multiple 13&Over “BB” times or “A” times to begin this group.
  • *12 year olds must have shown the maturity to work with older swimmers and train at their intensity.
