Meet the coordinators who keep our lessons safe, welcoming, and fun — one stroke at a time.

Swim Lesson Manager

Eden Weber

Eden has lived in the Gahanna area her whole life. She began her aquatic career when she was just 7 years old, joining the local YMCA swim team. She swam competitively for 11 years before going off to college. Eden first became involved in swim lesson instruction when she was 16 years old at her neighborhood pool. She continued this work, eventually becoming the swim lesson manager, until the summer of 2025, at which point she transitioned to the role of swim lesson manager at Hydra.

Swim Lesson Coordinator

Brenden Miller

Brenden has been swimming since the age of six, starting on a recreational team before moving into club swimming and later competing for both his middle school and high school teams. He began teaching swim lessons at Hydra Aquatics at 16 and has grown with the program ever since. In addition to serving as a Swim Lesson Coordinator, Brenden is also the Pre-Competitive Head Coach, where he enjoys helping young swimmers build confidence, develop strong technique, and discover a love for the sport.
