The second annual Ohio State Swim Club Thanks for Giving Fall Classic Swim Meet & Food Drive was an overwhelming success, and helped Ohio State beat Michigan in the Battle Against Hunger food drive! As part of The Ohio State Swim Club's "Thanks for Giving" Fall Classic Swim Meet, the team is hosting its second annual food drive for the Mid-Ohio Food Bank. The Ohio State Swim Club will hold unofficial/optional practices for all new and returning OSSC swimmers during the two weeks before our short course season officially begins. The practices will be offered September 6 - 8 and September 12 - 15, from 5 - 7 p.m. The written practices will be available on the pool deck and on our team website under the unofficial practices section (log in required). Our 2011-12 registration information will be posted on this website soon. The first registration window will be open to all returning swimmers who do not have an outstanding balance owed to The Ohio State University. Families with an outstanding balance may contact [email protected] to resolve any payment issues. The second window will open one week later, and will be for all swimmers who are new to the OSSC.

The Ohio State Swim Club captured first place honors at the USA Swimming Sectional Championships, held at Cleveland State University July 21 - 24. The team achieved 18 Olympic Trial cuts, 18 national cuts, and 82 Junior National cuts. View the results from the meet. Congrats OSSC!
