USA Swimming Registration - Important Update
New Process for All Swim Families!
Hello Blue Crush (Legacy) Swim Families!
Important information regarding USA Swimming Registration - please read carefully! This is required if you don't have a current membership.
What's Changed?
A few seasons ago, USA Swimming implemented a new process to register swimmers. USA Swimming now collects their fees directly on their own website. Swim teams no longer collect these fees and send the money to USA Swimming.
Good News: If you created your USA Swimming account in the past couple of seasons, your account is still active and you can simply renew through the normal process.
New Families or Inactive Accounts: If you're new to the team or haven't registered in recent seasons, you'll need to create a new USA Swimming account. A new Swim ID will be generated for your swimmer during this registration process.
Registration Fee
Please be prepared to pay your annual USA Swimming Registration Fee of $90 (Valid from 09/01/2025 - 08/31/2026)
Step-by-Step Registration Process
Step #1: Create Your Parent Account (New Families Only)
If you're new to Blue Crush (Legacy) or haven't registered in recent seasons, you'll use one of the links below to create your "parent" account first. These are specific links connected to our team:

Step #2: Add Your Swimmers to Your Account
For families with existing accounts: Simply log in and renew your swimmer's membership.
For new accounts, follow these steps to add your swimmers:

| 1 | Log out of your new parent account |
| 2 | Log back into USA Swimming using our team link above |
| 3 | Click on: "Select this membership for other than myself" |
| 4 | When asked "Has this person ever had a USA Membership?" select: Yes (if they previously swam) or No (if completely new) |
| 5 | Select "Renew" or "New Registration" as appropriate |
| 6 | Input the required information (name and birthdate) |
| 7 | Select your athlete's name from the populated list (if renewing) and hit Continue |
| 8 | Complete "About Member" section with required information, then hit Continue |
| 9 | Add emergency contact information, then hit Continue |
| 10 | Select "Premium Athlete" on the membership screen and hit Continue |
| 11 | Answer the ethnicity question, then hit Continue |
| 12 | Answer the gender questions, then hit Continue |
| 13 | Read all legal documents and acknowledge, then hit Continue |
| 14 | Electronically sign (type your name) the legal documents |
| 15 | Verify all information is correct, hit Continue |
| 16 | Review summary page of fees being charged ($90 for premium athlete), hit Continue |
| 17 | Shopping cart page - select any additional support items and processing fee coverage, hit Continue |
| 18 | Check out - input credit card information and process payment! |
Important Note About Outreach Membership
If you are eligible for Outreach membership (families on free or reduced lunch), please use the Outreach link above. If you experience any issues with the Outreach registration, please send us an email so we can assist you.
