Pacific Swimming

News

In total, we had over 50% best times as a team. Great in season performances by several of our swimmer and to all of you who got 100% best times. We also had several swimmers who were in their first swim meet ever. Great job and great swimming.

Great job Cara for qualifying for the Olympic Training Center Distance Camp this winter. Cara swam at the pacific senior meet this last weekend and went a 17:27.36 in the 1650 free. This blistering time qualified her and a handfull of the best distance swimmers in Pacific swimming for the camp. Congrats and way to represent NNA.

We did very well at this mid season swim meet. The first day was nice and then we had to battle rain and hail on Sunday. Congrats to our swimmers. Lots of best times and some great race experience.

Thank you to all who participated and made our finst Community Outreach Day such a success. With several hundred in attendance, everything ran smoothly. We had several compliments about the function and our people. I hope you all had as much fun as I did.

Great Job to all who participated. We had many best times and had a great time together in the super long days of swimming. I know how hard it is to swim fast when the meet lasts for 11 hours per day but you all did well anyway.

Good job to all who competed at the Fernley Meet October 2-3. We had individual high point winners for 15-16 boys Kyle Scalise and 17-18 boys Mack King.

Fantastic first meet of the season everyone. There were several great swims and best times. Congratulations to Kyle Scalise 15-16 boys high point winner and Haydn Burton 9-10 girls high point. Also I wanted to say great job to Hailey Mendoza, Juliette Krainess, Lauren Krainess, and Hilary Burton for competing in their first swim meet ever.

Kyle Scalise represented our team at Junior Nationals in Irvine this summer. I am happy to say he received all best times. It is tough to step up at the end of the summer at your first National level meet and he did it in style. All of his results are on the USA swimming web site and I will also put them up in our results section.

With the transition to short course, it was obvious we have gotten much faster over the summer with the amount of best times we received. I'm sure if the weather was better, we could have done even better.

I couldn't have been more proud of our team. We swam well. Everyone behaved themselves, and we had a great time. Just check it out.
