We had only 6 swimmers attend this meet and it was a great way to spend the summer. We had several best times and we had a great time doing it. Good job to all who attended.

Great job to all of you who participated at the Carson meet this weekend. It was hard to beging the long course season with a swim meet but we certainly did well. Congrats to Ben Stevenson who was recently selected to attend the USA Water Polo Youth National Team Selection Camp on June 24h.

There has been some question as to the accuracy of my previous news article about Kyle being the first person swimming currently to reach a Junior Nationals cut in the Northern Nevada Area. This is true. NCSA, or the National Club Swimming Association, as we all know formed the NSCA Junior National meet after United States Swimming canceled the old USA Swimming Junior National swim meet. NCSA is a non-profit organization that decided to capitalize on the Junior Nationals name. Anyone can put on a meet and call it whatever...

Well Done Everyone! We had an absolutely fantastic showing at Far Westerns. Haydn Burton made her first National Reportable Time in the 50 back where she also finished 2nd. Lauren Menicucci dropped 4 seconds in the 200IM and finished 3rd. We had many other wonderful swims but there was one that topped them all. Kyle Scalise won the 100 breaststroke with a 57.70. He broke the 15-16 boys record and also qualified for an A cut for Junior Nationals as well as a B cut for Nationals. Kyle is the...

With another championship under our belts, our swimmers shine. The long JO format was exhausting for some, but we swam very well with 5 individual championships. We had several best times and I was commented repeatedly on how well our swimmers looked.

Thats right everyone. Ryan will be attending the top military academy of the United States this coming school year. He is one of the select few who ever receive this high honor. You don't have to salute him, but you have to show him respect.

Great results from all NNA swimmers from the Fernley meet this weekend February 27-February 28. We had 4 high point winners. Newcomer Lina Strand won the girls 6 and under, Holly Burton won the 1-14 girls high point, Nick Sedano won the boys 13-14 high point, and Alex Sedano won the boys 15-16 high point. We looked great out there and everyone got best times.
