WA Open Volunteers needed!
Happy Holidays VAST families!
Great job to all of our Senior champs swimmers so far, one last day to go!
While everyone is busy with last minute holiday prep, it is also time to start thinking ahead to January. Washington Open, VASTs largest team hosted meet of the year, is only just over 3 weeks away! This will be the first opportunity to earn volunteer hours for trimester 2!
Sign ups are still very thin, and there are several positions that are essential to running a successful meet. Specifically, we need safety marshals, finals sessions timers and head timers. If we are unable to fill these spots soon, we will need to start looking to hiring these jobs to outside sources.
*Please note that there are very limited opportunities to earn hours during trimester 2 this year.
Below is the required hours for each session:
Gold Elite: 10 hours Trimester 1 buy out: $300
Silver Elite/Sprint Performance: 8 hours, Trimester 1 buy out: $240
Silver/Gold: 6 hours, trimester 1 buy out: $180
Bronze: 4 hours, trimester 1 buy out: $120
