This area of the site is full of information and articles that will help parents understand more about the team, the LSC, and the sport. If any questions come up or you would like more information about something please ask one of the coaches.

Your role as a parent is to be positive and supportive. Swimming is a complicated sport that requires a lot of thinking and your swimmer is constantly developing and learning new things. Please resist the temptation to try and coach your swimmer. Even the best intentions can send mixed messages to your swimmer as they are working on specific aspects of their stroke. At different times of the season the goals may be a little different for each swimmer and just because your swimmer does not go a best time at a meet does not mean they had a bad swim.
