Why you should volunteer at the Washington Open
Top Five Reasons why you should volunteer at the Washington Open:
-
1. It gets your required volunteer hours out of the way at the beginning of the trimester and you don’t have to stress about it come March.
-
-
2. You get to be where the action is… mingling with officials and coaches and seeing the swimmers up close in their natural habitat. Often times, they will even thank you for your volunteerism.
-
-
3. You get to watch really FAST swimming. We have some true 2028 Olympic Hopefuls competing in this meet and you get to say you saw them before they made it!
-
-
4. You get paid if you work more than your required hours. Who doesn’t love dues credit? You can use the savings to buy yourself a coffee or dinner out or save it for a vacation to Hawaii. Aloha!
-
-
5. We will be forever grateful for the time you are putting into our team to make it better. You can walk away feeling like you made a difference in the life's of 1050 swimmers, 200 coaches, and 100 officials.
