If you love the water, Centennial Girls Swim and Dive offers two perfect options!  As our motto indicates, our team focuses on supporting our student athletes to reach their goals, both in and out of the pool.  The team fosters an atmosphere where our athletes support one another, forming a cohesive team, and helping them to be the best versions of themselves. Whether you are experienced or just starting out, our team welcomes all skill levels.  Our program encourages leadership, teamwork, hard work and fun.

The 2025 Season Kickoff Meeting will be held on Monday, July 14th at 6:30pm at the high school!  We will be in the East Upper Gym.  (Please enter through the front of the Student Union-doors facing North Road)

Swimming:

On the swimming side, we provide support to both novice swimmers and experienced athletes alike.  We are dedicated to developing skills at all levels while remaining committed to having fun.  Swimming is about speed, technique, and endurance.  We train in various strokes-freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly-preparing the swimmers to participate in both individual and relay events. Swimming is a great way to improve strength, fitness and discipline, all while having fun and pushing limits.

A “perfect race” looks different to each swimmier.  Our goal is to help each athlete achieve that race, no matter what it looks like for her.  We encourage a competitive and supportive environment that focuses on leadership, teamwork and on building life skills that will see them through adulthood.

Diving:

The dive team is an exciting part of our swim and dive program, focused on building strength, precision, and confidence in athletes both on the board and in the water. Whether you're new to diving or have prior experience, our team welcomes all skill levels and emphasizes personal growth, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

As part of the dive team, athletes will learn essential diving techniques including approach, takeoff, form, and entry. You'll develop skills in flexibility, balance, body control, and aerial awareness while training in a supportive and encouraging environment. Our experienced coaches provide individualized feedback to help divers progress safely and effectively through a variety of dives, from basic jumps to more advanced twists and somersaults. Beyond physical ability, diving teaches focus, mental toughness, and goal-it athletes in and out of the pool.
