Apparel and Gear Coordination

Suits, caps and apparel are essential for a consistent look and team comradery for the season. Also, as the athletes are developing stronger skills or new people are added to the team, new gear may be needed.  Coordination assistance with captains, coaches and vendors is needed. Please talk with the boosters if you have additional questions or comments. We are all happy to walk through it. 

Apparel/Suit/Cap Selection Volunteer

  • Items needed:
    • Team apparel
      • Work with the team captains to help them with the selection process of the team clothing for the season.  Work with the boosters on the timeline and then help the captains to hit those deadlines.  Will also need to help with work with the coaches for approval so that apparel is here before the season starts. Work with the vendors to make sure the online apparel stores are set up prior to the kickoff meeting, usually always held the first part of July.
    • Suits and equipment
      • Collaborate with the team captains/booster/coaches to help with the selection process for the season team suit.
      • Assist captains working with vendors to pick the season team suits.
      • Work with the vendor to create a list of equipment as well.
        • Coaches and Boosters will assist
      • Help the team captains with deadlines to make sure we have suits prior to the first meet (preferably before conference relays so that we can have team pictures done then)
      • Work with the vendors to make sure the online suit and equipment store is set up prior to the kickoff meeting, usually always held the first part of July.
    • Caps
      • Work with our swim vendors and the team to make sure that cap orders are placed for all swimmers who need them.
      • May need to obtain the Centennial logo and send it over to the vendor.  
      • Will work with the vendor and the boosters on timeline
      • Make sure the online store is set up prior to the kickoff meeting, usually always held the first part of July.

    • Prior to the start of the season
      • Typically starting in early May
      • Completes prior to the season starting
      • Approximately 7-10 hours total
