Team Bonding Events and Social Gatherings
Team events and social gatherings are essential to the girls during the season and off season. With the assistance of the volunteers the girls can get together for dinners, pasta feeds, team building and team bonding events. Please talk with the boosters if you have additional questions or comments. We are all happy to walk through it. The different opportunities are listed below:
- Pasta Feed Hosts
- General Description:
- Looking for three families to host per season. Volunteers would provide a location, usually their house, where the girls could gather and eat together. It is a time for team-bonding and is usually done prior to a race or important event for the athletes. Dates are set based on the meet schedule so volunteers can sign up for the ones that fits their schedule. The boosters can help connect you with a previous host if you have questions.
- Assignment:
- Volunteers will need to do the shopping for the meal. They will also prepare and serve the meal and of course, can always enlist other parents to help. The Booster club has a budget for each meal and will reimburse the volunteers for the cost of the food, etc. within that budget. Please keep your receipts as you will need to complete a reimbursement form.
