At Centennial, we are committed to offering a dynamic and personalized experience for every student, both academically and athletically. Our swim and dive program emphasizes innovation, excellence, and rigorous training to help each athlete reach their full potential. We focus on building strong relationships and partnerships within our community, ensuring that we provide comprehensive educational and athletic opportunities for all.

Community and Charity Involvement

Community outreach is a very important aspect of team building.  These events allow our athletes the opportunity to help someone else.  They allow for individual growth far beyond the classroom or pool.  They allow our athletes to work together as a team, outside of the pool, to serve a need far greater than their own.

Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) Volunteers

  • Coordinator Description:
    • We will need one volunteer to set up and schedule the event with FMSC.  This volunteer will need to track the athlete RSVPs and keep FMSC updated. You will encourage the team to come together and serve the community.  Note-The team usually has a team breakfast before the event so securing a reservation at the restaurant may also be necessary.
  • Volunteer Assignments:
    • Depending on the number of participants, additional volunteers will be needed.  Duties may include transporting some of the athletes to and from the event or helping to organize a carpool. Volunteers accompany the team to Feed My Starving Children and participate/chaperone the event itself by helping the girls pack the food.
  • Timeline:
    • Event date is typically held on the Thursday of MEA weekend. The date for the 2025 season has yet to be set. This is approximately a 4-5 hour commitment.
