Meet Your 2025 Summer Swim Team Board

The HCP Dolphin Swim Team would not be possible without our volunteer swim team board members. Each year, we look for parents, grandparents or adult family members willing and able to commit their time and energy to our neighborhood families and their summer swimmers.

Whether you live in HCP, Grassy Creek, Hidden Cove or Oak Park, we invite you to inquire about positions.

 

Kasey

Kasey Neely
Team Manager / Treasurer

  • Acts as liaison between the neighborhood HOA board and the East Cooper Swim League (ECSL)
  • Attends ECSL meetings and relays information to swim team board members
  • Manages finances with banking institution and team Venmo accounts, including payment of coaching staff and reimbursement of board/team members
  • Manages membership requirements alongside board members

Abby Faust
Assistant Team Manager / Secretary

  • Post communication on HCP Dolphins Swim Team Facebook page
  • Post communication on Hobcaw Creek Plantation neighborhood Facebook page
  • Act as the liaison between the swim team and the Hobcaw Creek Plantation HOA Board regarding swim events and coordinate needs as they arise
  • Share swim event reminders and general information to team families via email and social media platforms as required
  • Send out meet information the week and day of event
  • Act as the liaison between Hobcaw Creek Plantation and Hidden Cove representative
  • Determine supply needs for each meet on a weekly basis
  • Purchase and stock concession stand items in the HCP supply team room the week of meet
  • Assess pool grill propane tank levels and replace as needed

 

Kelli

Kelli Wright
Tech Chair

  • Setup and manage registration sign-up at the beginning of each season
  • Setup both home and away meets utilizing the East Cooper Swim League (ECSL) preferred computer platform called "Team Manager"
  • Design and/or modify heat sheets alongside coaching staff
  • Train home meet tech table parent volunteers how to use software to enter swimmers' proper time into system

Volunteer Coordinator

  • Setup parent volunteer job responsibilities, descriptions and sign-ups on webpage
  • Acts as main contact person to answer parent questions (i.e. emails, social media inquiries, texts/calls, etc.)
  • Manages volunteer sign-up table staff at both home and away meets
  • Follows up with families who have not completed volunteer commitment requirements

Caroline Borgmann
Coaching Liasion

  • Recruit coaching staff prior to the summer season start
  • Supports coaches in and out of the water during practices and meets
  • Demonstrates proper swimming form and technique
  • Helps coaching staff adapt their approaches to the age, experience and ability of swimmers

 

Cindy

Cindy Mottern
Merchandise Coordinator / Website 

  • Find and coordinate with merchandise suppliers for yearly orders of team apparel and promotional gear (i.e. shirts, hats, Koozies, bags, etc.)
  • Meet with graphic designer (as needed) for logo and team design requirements
  • Coordinate the logo stamp for team bathing suits and swim caps with our main supplier - Time Out Sports
  • Manage the merchandise table alongside volunteer staff during practices and meets
  • Update team website with imagery and content as needed
  • Photograph swim practices and meets for promotional content
