Refund/Cancellation Policy
Registration Fees:
All registration fees are non-refundable once paid, except under specific circumstances. If a participant wishes to cancel their participation, they must notify the team in writing at [email protected].
Refund Eligibility: Refunds for registration fees may be considered under the following circumstances:

Injury or illness preventing participation

Relocation: If a participant relocates to an area outside the reach of the swim team's activities

Other reasons as deemed by the family
Refunds will be full, partial, or none, depending on the following:

Full refund: If a written request is made prior to the first day of practice and no costs have been incurred

Partial Refund: If a written request is made prior to the first day of practice and costs have incurred for items such as the team shirt, team suit, and/or insurance, a refund will be issued, minus these costs

No Refund: If a request is made after the first day of practice
Refund requests will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis by the Tallyn’s Reach Tiger Sharks Treasurer and President.
Refund Process: Refund requests must be submitted in writing within 3 days of the circumstance necessitating the cancellation. Approved refunds will be processed within 7 days of the receipt of the refund request. Refunds will be issued using the original form of payment.
Cancellation of Swim Team Activities:
In the event that swim team activities (e.g., practices, meets) are canceled due to inclement weather, pool closures, or unforeseen circumstances, efforts will be made to reschedule activities whenever possible. No refunds will be provided for canceled swim team activities unless the cancellation results in the permanent discontinuation of the program.
Exceptions and Special Circumstances: The Tallyn’s Reach Tiger Sharks reserve the right to make exceptions to this refund and cancellation policy in special circumstances, subject to review and approval by the Board President and Treasurer.
