How to Sign Up for a Meet:

Go to the Website:  www.tallynstigersharks.com

LOGIN

On the front page scroll down to Swim Meets 

  • Look for the Swim Meet and click on the link to take you to the event page.
  • Read any information regarding that event.

Click on "EDIT COMMITMENT".   Pink Button.
Your swimmer(s) names will appear in front of a drop down menu

From here you can choose:

1) NO do not sign up my swimmer for this event.  Click Save Changes and you are done.  Your swimmer will not attended the meet

2) Click YES sign up for the event.  Click Save Changes.

  • On the next screen, you will see a list of events possible for your swimmer.  Choose up to 3 by checking the box next to the event.  
  • Each event will be populated with a time (a previous time your swimmer swam that event) or NT (means No Time- your swimmer does not have a time recorded in our system for that event)
  • Coaches reserve the right to change the events if needed for the team

3) Another option:  Click Save Change without choosing any events.  This will let the coaches know that you wish for them to pick the events.

4) COMMENTS: If your swimmer is arriving late or leaving early....please notate that in the comments box.  This is VERY IMPORTANT for the coaches to create relay team at the beginning and the end of each meet.  It's probably the most fun, but it can also be a disappointment if your swimmer isn't there and 3 others don't get to swim.

RELAY TEAMS

Coaches choose the relay teams.  There are 2 relays each meet.  The Medley Relay takes place at the beginning of the meet- each swimmer swims a different stroke.  The Freestyle Relay is the last event, where all 4 swimmers swim Freestyle.  Relays are fun and coaches try to put swimmers in a relay as often as possible during the season.  There are Relay Teams A, B, and C usually at every meet (if time and space allow for 3).

How do I know if my swimmer is in a relay?

  1. Look in the Meet Program, emailed Friday night before the meet
  2. Relay teams will be posted during Friday practice at the pool
  3. Click EDIT COMMITTMENT.  Here you will see all the events your swimmer(s) are signed up for, including relays.
