Prelims & Championships is the 3 day end of season meet for all 6 teams in the A division in the Mountain Hi Swim League.

2025 SEASON DATES:

Prelims is divided into 2 days: Tuesday, July 8, 2025 is for ages 6 & under, 7-8, 13-14 & 15-18 at the Clarke Farms Pool in Parker.

Wednesday, July 9, 2025 is for ages 9-10 & 11-12 at Tallyn's Reach Pool in Aurora. Those meets will begin around 8am and finish by noon (or earlier).

Swimmers from all 6 teams in our division will compete at prelims for a spot at championships. While everyone is invited to swim on Tuesday/Wednesday, only the fastest 16 swimmers + 2 alternates from the prelims races will be invited to swim at championships on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at Cook Creek's Pool in Lone Tree. Across the years, sometimes both alternates get a chance to swim at championships, and sometimes neither swimmer gets to swim the event. But because alternates regularly get placed, it is important to be there. (Also alternates can be placed on relay teams for championships.)

At the 2025 Mountain Hi Swim League Division A Championships, our team will also compete in relay races. Any swimmers who qualified for championships might be asked to swim in a relay. If your family is attending with sibling swimmers who didn't qualify for a spot in championships, bring their swimsuits as they might be asked to also swim in a relay during the meet. Some age groups will need all the swimmers they can to make a relay team for championships. If you can not attend Prelims, but are available to attend championships and your swimmer wants to swim in a relay, please email[email protected] to let Coach Kevin know.

Even if you cannot swim at championships on Saturday, July 12, 2025 you can swim at prelims! We can scratch you from the championship meet if you qualify but cannot attend. Prelim races are a last-chance to qualify for an all-star time.
