Head Coaches | Claire Phillips & Nicole Forrest
The Tigersharks are thrilled to have two very seasoned swimmers - and team moms! - as our coaches this year!
Head Coach | Nicole Forrest
Nicole is a Midlakes and U.S Swimming veteran that developed a love for swimming when she was 7 years old. She swam for Phantom Lake Swim Club, Sammamish High School, and Bellevue Club while growing up and went on to swim for the University of Puget Sound in college. Nicole's favorite strokes are breaststroke and butterfly, and back in the day she competed in the U.S. Junior Nationals and NAIA Championships. She is thrilled to be part of the Triangle Coaching staff and support the incredible Triangle swimmers and community!
Head Coach | Claire Phillips
Claire is a former Midlakes swimmer (go MICC!) who also swam and played water polo for MIHS. Claire also swam for Chinook, where her favorite stroke was breaststroke. As the mom of two Midlakes swimmers, Claire is looking forward to a great season with the Tigersharks!
Assistant Coach | Michael Masters
My name is Michael Masters, I’m 17 years old, I’m a senior and I go to Bellevue High School.
I first joined Triangle pool all the way back in 2014 as an 8-year-old, and being a coach here is something I have always been aspiring to. I am currently a member of Bellevue High’s swim and water polo teams and I will also be a lifeguard at Triangle this year.

Assistant Coach | Lauren Jensen
My name is Lauren Jensen, I am 19 years old and am currently a freshmen at Biola University in Southern California. I’m majoring in Film with emphasis in directing and screenwriting and am also part of the swim team.
Triangle is where I first got my start in the sport of swimming and my inspiration to continue the sport year round. Now I am a college-level athlete and I couldn’t have gotten here without the help of my early coaches at Triangle. I have always dreamed of giving back what Triangle gave to me and am so excited to help young swimmers find the joys of this sport!

Junior Tigersharks Coach | Madelyne Masters
My name is Madelyne Masters. I'm 15 years old and part of the class of 2026 at Bellevue High School. I started off at Triangle as a Jr Tigershark when I was 6 and it was always such a memorable experience for me. I'm so excited to get to pass down this amazing experience!

Apprentice Coaches
Our Head and Assistant Coaches are supported by 2 to 4 seasonal apprentice coaches (ages 15-18) who encourage and develop the younger swimmers, bring mentorship and team spirit to our swim club, and compete as 15&O swimmers.
