Swimville USA is a local vendor where you can purchase team suits and equipment in-person located at 837 Bethel Rd, Columbus, OH 43214.

Team Suits

Tangy Tornadoes use all-black competition suits for both swim and dive teams.

  • Boys' jammers are required to be above the knees; if they are too long, your child may be disqualified during a meet. Jammers should fit snugly.
  • Girls' suits should allow only one finger to fit underneath the shoulder straps.
  • Any brand of all-black suit is acceptable.

Team Caps

Anyone with hair that falls over the top of the ear is required to wear a team cap for all meets. Caps will be available for purchase at practice and meets for $10 cash only.

Practice Equipment

Swimmers should bring the following equipment to practice each day. Most swimmers bring their equipment in a large, waterproof bag or backpack (available at Swimville USA, but not required). Goggles should be competitive swimming goggles. We recommend the Speedo Vanquisher series.

  • 13 & Over Practice Group: Competitive Swim Goggles, Pull Buoy, Kick Board, Fins
  • 11-12 Practice Group: Competitive Swim Goggles, Pull Buoy, Kick Board, Fins
  • 9-10 Practice Group: Competitive Swim Goggles, Kick Board, Fins
  • 8 & Under Practice Group: Competitive Swim Goggles, Kick Board, Fins (optional)
