Registration for the 2025 Swim & Dive Teams: Registration Closed
Registration Dates:
- Returning Members: Registration opens Friday, April 25.
- New Members: Registration opens Sunday, April 27.
Eligibility & Membership Requirements:
You must have a membership to the Olentangy Swim Association (OSA) (Powell Pool) to participate with the Tangy Tornadoes. Current members of OSA ages 6 to 18 as of June 1, 2025 are eligible. Before being able to participate in any meets, all membership fees to the OSA must be paid in full.
Dive Assessments:
There are no dive team assessments. All abilities welcome!
Swim Assessments (for new Tangy Tornado swimmers only):
New swimmer assessments will be held on the following dates (weather permitting):
- Friday, May 23, Time TBD
- Tuesday, May 27, Time TBD

Assessment Requirements:
- 10 and under swimmers must be able to swim one length of the pool freestyle without stopping to rest and one length of the pool backstroke without stopping to rest.
- 11 and over swimmers must be able to swim two lengths of the pool freestyle without stopping to rest and two lengths of the pool backstroke without stopping to rest.
Swim Team Volunteer Requirement:
Families are required to volunteer for 2-3 shifts. Failure to fulfill your family’s volunteer requirement during the 2025 regular season will result in your family being assessed a $150 fee.
