The Piranhas started strong on the scoreboard today with solid swims in the 1000 freestyle. In the girls 13-14 year old division, Faith Travis and Kat Wickham scored in the event with Faith getting 1st and Kat 5th in times of 10:21.32 and 10:31.03. The Piranhas successfully wrapped up their final day of younger JO's. Alissah Koochaki made her 4th finals appearance of the meet in the 100 yard freestyle swimming a personal best tonight in her final swim of the meet finishing 10th overall. Kelli Andrade also swam her final race of the meet and very nearly qualified for finals, just missing out by less than 1 second, and swimming a life time best time in the 100 yard breaststroke. All of the Piranhas qualified for younger JO's saw action today. Alissah Koochaki started the day off on the right foot by finaling in her 200 freestyle and a good showing in the 50 butterfly. Alissah Koochaki, Kelli Andrade, and Desiree Lewis all competed in day 1 of younger JO's. Andrade and Lewis each had a strong showing in the 50 breast with Andrade also swimming a very good 100 IM. This is the very first Spring JO's for both girls. The Piranhas are on the scoreboard thanks to two finals performances by Alissah Koochaki.
