The USA Swimming National Age Group Recognition Program is an awards program for the top level of age group swimmers throughout the country. All times submitted to USA Swimming from sanctioned, approved or observed competition are eligible for consideration. The swimmer must have been a registered member of USA Swimming at the time of the swim. The Nashville Aquatic Club awards banquet was attended by over 100 swimmers, parents, siblings and coaches at Nashville Shores last week. A great time was had by all who attended!! 30 NAC Swimmers traveled to Knoxville, TN home of Pilot Aquatic Club June 3-5, 2011 in preparation for the Southeastern Championship Meet that will be hosted there July 14-17, 2011. The swimmers attending posted best times, new Southeastern Championship qualifying times and first time swims. This recently constructed facility is one of the nicest newest competitive swimming pools in the country. Nashville Aquatic Club swimmers traveled to Tempe, Arizona over the weekend to compete at the Sun Devil Aquatics Arizona Invitational. Hosted at Arizona State University, the meet featured multiple USA Swimming national team members including Nick Brunelli, Nick Thoman, Darian Townsend, Clark Burckle, Cullen Jones, Josh Schneider, Margo Geer, and many others. In the first NAC Staurday Races we had over 30 swimmers make Long Course Southeastern Championship cuts, loads of best times and a great time racing.
