DART NATOMAS COMPETITIVE GROUPS

These groups are geared toward swimmers with prior competitive swim team experience.  These swim groups will swim year-round and are expected to compete in swim meets.  Please see notes below for each group's information and requirements.  Fees are billed monthly.

Senior 1:

- Weekday Mornings: Monday 5:00-7:00 am + Thursday 5:30-7:00 am

- Sat. 7:00-9:30 am

- Dryland: 5:15-6:15 pm Tuesday + Thursday

National Dev.

13 & Older

Required 7 workouts a week, swim meets required, must have goals that show progress in the competitive sport of swimming

Senior 2

13 & Older

Required 6 workouts per week, swim meets required. These workouts are for competitive swimmers trying to work into the National groups. Swimmers should have higher goals in the sport of swimming. Swimmers must have a higher understanding of training, intervals, and endurance than Senior 1 athletes.

Senior 1

13 & Older

This group is for high schoolers whose main focus is another sport (such as waterpolo or a seasonal sport like soccer, track and field, etc.) but want to swim to stay in swim shape for High School swimming. There is no workout attendance requirement for this group.

AGE GROUP  3

11 – 13

Required 4 workouts per week, swim meets required, swimmers should have goals to progress into the Senior 2 or National Development group in the future.

AGE GROUP 2

9 – 10

Introductory group to competitive USA Swimming.  Swimmers should attend some swim meets. Swimmers should have understanding of all 4 strokes.

 7-8 

Introductory group to competitive USA Swimming.  Swimmers should attend some swim meets. Swimmers should have understanding of all 4 strokes.

MORE FEE INFORMATION:

  • Fees will be charged when you register.  From then on families will be charged monthly. If your child wants to take a break you must let us know 14 days before the 1st of the prior month. 
  • All new swimmers who have not had USA registration will need to register with USA Swimming starting in September. A link will be emailed to all families. The cost will be between $20-90 based on age and how many swim meets your swimmer plans to do. 
  • All Natomas Dart Swimmers will be charged a one-time fee of $150 as an Annual Fee. Swimmers will receive a swim cap,T-Shirt, Team suit and sweatshirt.
