The Neptunes are being well represented in this month’s NCAA Swimming Championships by alumnae Allie Stuhr, Jennifer Sims and Amanda Sims. Allie Stuhr, swimming for Principia College, placed 21st in the 200 Free, 19th in the 50 Free, and 17th in the 100 Free at the NCAA D3 Championships taking place in Oxford, Ohio this weekend. We now have a new name, Neptune Swimming, and new By-Laws (copies are available via the Neptune Swimming Team Unify Website), which were developed in accordance with California Not for Profit Corporations Law and USA Swimming guidelines. USA Swimming is proud to honor the commitment of our clubs as we introduce the eighth year of the USA Swimming Club Excellence Program. The focus of this voluntary program is to identify and reward up to 200 USA Swimming clubs that have attained a high level of athlete performance as well as organizational success. Pacific swimming hosted their annual awards banquet this past Saturday in Napa and 4 Neptune swimmers were honored with awards. Swimmer of the year honors went to Jenna Bauer (10-under), Maya DiRado (13-14), Molly Hannis (15-16) & Amanda Sims (17-18).
