For budgetary reasons, certain meets were eliminated and other meets were added. There will be a change in practice scedule for Bronze 1. This change will take affect on Monday 2/11 and last through May. They will swim Monday-Thursday at Ridgeway from 6:15-7:00pm. See you on deck.
We have all been aware of having 9-10 white groupers in a lane over the past couple of days. We are going to change the times and location during this season. Starting Tuesday 2/12: Monday-Thursday @ SRJC 4:30-5:30 Friday @ Ridgeway 5:30-6:30 Dryland will still be the same (5:45-6:15 @ Ridgeway), though this is going to be a hassle, we wanted to make sure that our swimmers have enough lane space. Starting Monday February 4, Ridgway will be shared by Santa Rosa high school, Maria Carillo high school, Monthgomery high school with the Neptunes coming starting practice after these schools finish their practice at 5 pm. Hello Neptune families, Our very 1st annual 14-under invitational Age group championship is less than 2 weeks away and it becoming clear that we need more volunteers to help share the burden of running a swim meet. Neptune Swimming has a strong tradition of paretnal volunteerism and we hope to continue this wonderful trend - the more people carrying a little of the load keeps everyone fresh and happy.
