Frigid temperatures, rain, ice, wind and long days did not stop Celeste Valdez and Toby Macabugao from performing best times at The Pacific Swimming SC Junior Olympics meet in Pleasanton this past weekend. Celeste Valdez had qualified for numerous events this JO's and was more relaxed and focused at this meet than her first JO's. She looked good. Another beautiful weekend on the Central Coast. Speaking of beautiful, I need to mention the quality of our swimmers starts and streamlines. Awesome best describes our team at all levels. We had the best starts,streamlines and breakouts of all teams participating in the meet. We also had the fastest 49er relay team on Saturday. We took first in the 200 medley relay.
