Thanks to everyone who donated items for the yard sale, and a big thank you to everyone who helped. FAST made a total of $324.60, of which $32.00 will be donated to the church where the sale was held. All remaining items were donated to Christian Outreach.

We received the entry file this evening for the Swim and Rock meet in November. Deadline for entries is 10/15.

BASS swimmers and parents, Please note we have added a "Meet Hotel Info" tab on the website between Events/Meets and Pool Locations across the top. This tab has a list of the various hotels that BASS has room blocks and special rates for upcoming meets. Please take a minute to look over this list and note the dates the block pricing expires. Our Fall Fundraiser is now underway and we need your help. We are selling reusable bags made of recycled materials. They are not only beautiful, but very functional. The weather is a little cool today but the air is still warmer than it was on Thursday and the weather looks more promising for the next couple of days so we are extending our clinic for this week to keep our kids in the water.

Registration for Winter 2011-2012 will be opening soon. Please keep an eye on the website for registration information. Mark your calendars for a mandatory parents meeting scheduled for Saturday, September 24 at the Fluvanna County Library from 12:30PM- 2:00PM. Sessions will start every half our. Families must attend the parent meeting AND complete the registration process before swimmers can get in the water. We will have computers available for registration at this meeting. Thank you.

We want to thank the four senior swimmers and six adults who worked the UVA vs. NC Football game on September 3rd, 2011. They all had a lot of fun and they raised $450 for FAST.
