Our Registration is officially open for the 2023-2024 season! Please see all of the necessary information under our "Youth Swim Team & Registration" tab. You can hind our Handbooks, Registration Packets, and more information on the squad levels there. Practice officially starts on Tuesday September 5th and remember, your swimmer needs to be registered with not only the team but with USASwimming to be allowed in the water for any USASwimming practices. SHORT COURSE SEASON REPORT 1. NUMBERS Gold’s aquatic club Camas started in September with 68 swimmers and we finished our season with 90 swimmers. 2023 Northwest Region Age Group Championship This was the championship meet for all of the North Western States age group swimmers, our team was represented by four swimmers and they did a great job, the meet is hosted at the biggest competition swimming pool in the West coast and the experience that our swimmers gained is a great addition to the ones that they experienced this past season. 2023 OSI Senior Region XII Arena SC Championships Five of our swimmers represented the team in the Oregon Senior championships. This was a great learning experience for our swimmers and is the age group that has the most room for improvement. 2023 Oregon Swimming State championship This was an amazing championship meet for our swimmers despite the challenges we faced. Our area was hit hard by the snowstorm and getting to Corvallis was quite a challenge for all of us. 2023 Arena Short Course 10 & under Championships Six of our GACC Swimmers represented the club at then 10 and under state championships in Springfield Oregon. Last weekend at Forest Grove Aquatics Center, 26 GACC swimmers competed at the Coast Range Qualifier swim meet against 7 other teams. This was our second to last swim meet for those hoping to qualify for short course Championships, and we are so excited to see those that qualified compete! 2023 LOSC Winter Challenge Open Our last swim meet in January was the LOSC Winter Challenge. Our GACC swimmers competed against nine other teams and did a fantastic job. We had 42 swimmers compete in 191 events, 126 of those events resulted in best times for a 66% improvement rate for our team.
