The 2023 CAT Short Course Open What a great meet! Our team finished in 5th place out of 21 teams. Twenty-one of our swimmers' made a big splash by racing in 105 events. 63 of those events resulted in best times for a 60% improvement rate. I received compliments from two different coaches about how great our swimmers are looking at meets. 2022 TTSC Holiday Invitational On the 9th and 10th of December, 31 of our swimmers represented the Golds Aquatics Club in the TTSC Holiday Invitational. Together they swam 129 events, and 104 of them were best times resulting in an 80% improvement. Way to go, GAC, you make us proud! 21 GAC swimmers represented the team at one of the last swim meets of the year - The 2022 Tualatin Hills Holiday Classic. Our swimmers raced 118 times; 86 of those races were best times, resulting in an improvement rate of 73%. Putting the team at an impressive 80% improvement rate for the first five swim meets of the short course season. 40th Canby Animal meet 2022 Our swimmers did it again, represented the team with great sportsmanship and courage, we had 20 swimmers doing 56 events and 46 best times for a 82% of improvement. Hello GAC Families. We hope everyone is staying warm and healthy this fall season. Last weekend we completed our 3rd meet, the PAC Fall invitational, and it was a success! Our swimmers completed 166 swims, and 92 were best times, resulting in an improvement rate of 79%. Hello Golds Aquatics Club families. We hope everyone is staying dry and enjoying the fall weather! On October 22nd and 23rd, our GAC swimmers made a big splash at the CST Harvest Open at the beautiful Chehalem Aquatic Center in Newberg, Oregon. Our swimmers did a great job exemplifying what it means to race well and have fun! A total of 29 swimmers represented GAC at the Harvest Open. LOSC Fall Open This last weekend was our first swim meet as Golds Aquatics Club, and it was a total success! Our swimmers did a phenomenal job; in fact, most of them improved their times in each event. As a team, we had 164 total swims, with 151 of them being best times.
