Wave has two swimmes currently listed on the World Rankings. Ira Kaplan (age 9) is 27th in the 50 Fl on the World Disability Rankings. Way to go Ira - she is the youngest swimmer on the list by 5 years! Megan Caylor (age 17) is currently 170th on the World Rankings in the 200m Ba! She is the first Wave swimmer to make the rankings in many years. Both rankings are overall rankings not by age group. Way to go girls.

We have updated our team policy on conduct at practice, meets, & team events. All swimmers and parents are responsible for knowing, understanding, & following the policy.

Ira Kaplan set her 8th Junior National Record & first National Open Age Record at the UPAC Spring Special. Her 50y Back time is the best ever swum by a class 6 disability swimmer. Congrats Ira!

Ira Kaplan, an 8 year old with Wave Aquatics, competed in the National Junior Disability Championships in Tampa, Florida on July 27 & 28. While there, Ira set American Records for her age group and class in four events: 25 Freestyle, 25 Butterfly, 25 Backstroke and 50 Backstroke. Ira also swam personal bests in the 100 IM and the 50 Freestyle. Congratulations Ira! Wave is very proud of you!
