Futures Championships Meet Recap This year’s Futures Championships took place in Sacramento, CA, from July 23-26. Wave had seven swimmers qualified for individual events at the meet, our biggest crew in a long time and we also had a couple relays qualified, the 400 Free and the 400 Medley relay. PNS 13&O Long Course Senior Champs Meet Recap Wave’s Senior swimmers had a fantastic Champs meet and some phenomenal swims to pull off the team’s highest finish in more than 10 years! Many who competed were able to qualify for finals where many went even faster than they had previously that day and/or moved up spots. Seattle Age Group Open Meet Recap Colman Pool at Lincoln Park in West Seattle seemed to turn purple with the sea of Wave caps churning through the 50-meter saltwater pool. For many of our swimmers, it was their first experience racing the long lengths that Olympic athletes race in. We saw an impressive number of first-time swims and big time drops! Wave Seniors Swim Red Hot at the Seattle Open! Our older swimmers raced for the second consecutive weekend, this time at Colman Pool for the 104th Senior Seattle Open. The team achieved numerous personal bests and new qualifying times, reflecting their hard work this season. Wave Wins Firecracker for 4th Year in a Row! Wave sent over 100 swimmers to Missoula, our highest number yet, and won both the Women’s and Men’s titles. Despite cold morning weather and a lightning storm on Friday, Wave swimmers triumphed to become Champions again. SRST Invitational Meet Recap Wave sent nearly 250 swimmers up to Snohomish for some FAST racing! VAST Sprint & Distance Meet Recap Our Select Team traveled to the King County Aquatic Center for our second long course meet of the season. May Flowers Invitational Meet Recap Our Select Team traveled down to the King County Aquatic Center for the first long course (50 meter) meet of 2025! Sport Team Gets Wave Off to Fast Long Course Season! Spring Finale Meet Recap Wave swimmers finished the 2024-25 Short Course Season in style, handily winning the Division 3 Spring Finale with 593.5 points and showing team spirit that was off the charts!
