SRST Champs Qualifier Meet Recap The Select Team had their final meet before the March Championship Season up at Snohomish last weekend. Many of the older boys only raced on Sunday, as they were participating in the High School State Champs on Friday and Saturday. Wave dominated at the meet, with athletes swimming more of their best events and fewer off events in preparation for March. SSCD Winter Open & Wave Distance Meet Recaps We had a strong showing last weekend at the Wave Distance Meet on Friday followed by the SSCD Winter Open on Saturday/Sunday. Many first-time milers and 500 freestylers raced on Friday night, then journeyed up to Kamiak for the next two days of fast swimming on short rest. Wave Winter Invitational Meet Recap Wave began 2025 with the entire team participating in our own invitational. Senior Champs Recap Wave swimmers continued upon our success at Age Group Champs by turning in a fantastic performance at the Washington State Senior Championship Meet. Our team placed 6th overall (out of 29 teams). It was an awesome weekend full of very fast swims. PNS 14&U Championship Meet Recap Wave swimmers continued our recent success of high performance at elite meets with our 4th place team finish (out of 27 teams) at PNS Champs! Sixty-seven different swimmers scored points for Wave, with our amazing relay teams leading the way. US Open & Winter Junior Nationals Meet Recaps This month, Wave was represented by two swimmers from Senior Epic in two different national meets. Jaiden Sreenivasan qualified to swim his first US Open and Daniel Xia qualified for the first time for Winter Junior Nationals. USA Swimming National Meets are built to follow a progressive tier of cuts. Fall Divisionals Meet Recap Wave swimmers dominated at the first Championships of the Fall Season, the first of three consecutive weekends of champs meets. Wave won the North Division handily by more than 200 points.
