VAST Sprint & Distance Meet Recap Our Select Team traveled to the King County Aquatic Center for our second long course meet of the season. May Flowers Invitational Meet Recap Our Select Team traveled down to the King County Aquatic Center for the first long course (50 meter) meet of 2025! Sport Team Gets Wave Off to Fast Long Course Season! Spring Finale Meet Recap Wave swimmers finished the 2024-25 Short Course Season in style, handily winning the Division 3 Spring Finale with 593.5 points and showing team spirit that was off the charts! The team was represented by swimmers from every single group and was led by Lucy Broyles, who won 4 individual races, scored 38 points (most by a Wave swimmer), and earned a AA and two A times! Age Group Regionals & SSDL Nation Meet Recaps This year, due to the King County Aquatic Center hosting NCAA Div 1 Women's Champs, Age Group Regionals had to move to Boise. Due to size restrictions, Wave decided to attend two different meets: Age Group Regionals in Boise (featuring teams from 7 states) and the first-ever SwimStrong Dryland Nation Champs in Indiana (featuring teams from across the country). SRST Champs Qualifier Meet Recap The Select Team had their final meet before the March Championship Season up at Snohomish last weekend. Many of the older boys only raced on Sunday, as they were participating in the High School State Champs on Friday and Saturday. SSCD Winter Open & Wave Distance Meet Recaps We had a strong showing last weekend at the Wave Distance Meet on Friday followed by the SSCD Winter Open on Saturday/Sunday. Many first-time milers and 500 freestylers raced on Friday night, then journeyed up to Kamiak for the next two days of fast swimming on short rest.
