WELCOME SWIMMERS!

We are so excited to have our swimmers back in the pool after the summer break.  A big welcome to all our new swimmers!    

 

THURSDAY PRACTICE (9/11/2025)

  • Reminder, there is only Purple practice on Thursday from 4-4:45 pm due to a HS Girls’ meet.

 

GOLD FRIDAY PRACTICE

We had a typo in the fall practice time for the Gold group.  Please check the updated schedule for your practice times (should be the same time you were used to prior seasons).  I sent an email out about this earlier today as well.  We apologize for any confusion this caused.

 

USED SWIM GEAR

DFAC has some used gear available on our Facebook page.  Please check it out if your swimmer needs fins, gear, etc.

 

SWIMMER HIGHLIGHT

Want to have your swimmer recognized on our FB page for their efforts this upcoming fall season?    Please complete the Swimmer Highlight form (https://forms.gle/KpEyQvw4dWK8ZLxo7) to have your swimmer considered (returning families – there is no need to resubmit if you have completed this already).

 

TEAM STORES

Last week for Simply Swimming orders.  Deadline is September 10th @ 11:59 PM.   https://simplyswimming.net/DFAC

 

PARENTS ON DECK

DFAC has been allowed to have parents watch practice from the mezzanine.  This is our arrangement with the school district and the pool staff.  Parents SHOULD NOT be on deck.  You can drop off and pick up your swimmers in the hallway.    

If there is a need to talk to the coaches, please do so via email, TeamSnap, or set up a time to meet with them.  We recognize this is the first week but please make sure we are following this arrangement and don’t force us to close practices.

 

POOL MEZZANINE

Here are a few reminders about the mezzanine.  We are a guest using the school’s facilities for practice and need to be respectful of the space.              

  • Please do not lean/sit on the glass railings overlooking the pool
  • Please do not climb, stand, or jump from window ledges.  This includes children.
  • Please make sure all trash, etc is disposed of when you leave the mezzanine.
