The Divisional Champs at our pool was a huge success for a lot of reasons.  our group of parents came together in a heroic effort to offer a, high quality, well run meet.  From the computer and score board operation on to concessions all went amazingly well.  By far the greatest benefit of the meet came as we watched many of our newer swimmers have a great experience that was fun and rewarding. Mighty Marlin Swimmers had a plethora of top 8 finishes in the very competitive Age Group Invite at Kamiak.  Bindi Pedersen won all 6 of her events.  Christina Domanowki had 4 wins, Jeffrey Lozensky and Colin Willis 2 each and Abby Magee had 1.  Other Mighty Marlins with multiple top 8 finishes included: Erin Delaney, Maggie Delaney, Madison Elsner, Emerson Jesus, Elle Lee, Kara Libra, Jonathan Pustaeri, Rebekah Pusateri, Grant Reimers, Karlie Rimat, and Leah Taylor. Seven Mighty Marlins tested their endurance at the Storm Distance Meet!  Kirby Schaufler, Karlie Rimat, and Skyler Walker tackled the 1000 free.  All had best times and swam very strong races.  Christina Domanowski, Abby Magee, Bindi Pedersen, and Leah Taylor all swam the 1650 with best times!

Elle Lee led the Mighty Marlins at the Q-Meet in Federal Way with 3 victories and a 3rd place finish.  Other Marlins with top 16 finishes included: Maggie Delaney 2-2nds a 5th, & 14th.  Kara Libra a 2nd, 7th, 10th, & 16th.  Emerson Jesus a 5th, 6th, 14th & 15th.  Ben Veazey a 7th, 8th, 11th, & 14th.  Erin Delaney a 5th, 6th, & 15th.  Madi Elsner 2-6ths, & an 11th.  John Snider 2-15ths.  and Emma Savidge a 9th.  Addison Lee, Piper Lee, Nate Metcalf, and Lawren Rainey also swam...

Nine of our 14 Mighty Marlins took home hardware for top 6 overall finishes in the Chinook Pentathlon.  Parker Mills, Regan Mills and Tristan Pearson had superb swims in their first meet ever, and Lawren Rainey and Nate Metcalf registered 3 best time s each. The Marlins hitting top overall placing included: 6th Lauren Carson, 5th Madison Elsner, and 3rd for Jeffrey Lozensky and Skyler Walker. Overall Winners by age group included: Madelynn Butler, Maggie Delaney, Bindi pedersen, Karlie Rimat, and Christina Domanowski!

Marlin swimmers recorded best times at the Cascade Invitation this weekend.  In a spontaneous act of Marlinness we instituted a new tradition for swimmers at swim meets.  Swimmers will pick an event each day of a meet that they hope to do a best time in.  If they do a best time in that event they will get to choose a plastic, adorable, sea creature as a prize.  At the meet Christina Domanowski, Jeffrey Lozensky, Abby Magee, Bindi Pedersen, and Karlie Rimat all swam a best time in a Narwhal...

The Marlins totaled 85 best times at the October Challenge in Bellingham!  Nathaniel Ludwig and Madison Elsner led the way with 7 best times each!  Piper Lee had 6 bests, Jeffrey Lozensky and John Snider each had 5 each, Maggie Delaney, Rebekah Pusateri, Lawren Rainey, and Leah Taylor each had 4 best times.  3 best times were turned in by: Lauren Carson, Christina Domanowski, Emerson Jesus, Abby Magee, Bindi Pedersen, Jonathan Pusateri, Luke Pusateri, Anna Veazey, and brother Ben.  Swimmers with 2 and 1 best times included: Lyric Ingram, Addison...

Mighty Marlins swimmers won 42 events at the Fall T-Bird in Anacortes!  Bindi Pedersen led the way with 10 victories, Maggie Delaney had 9, Grant Reimers tallied 5 wins, Madelynn Butler and Christina Domanowski had 4 each, Skyler Walker and Abby Magee won 3 events, Elle Lee took 2 victories and Karlie Rimat had 1! Many Marlins also had top 6 finishes including: Tanner Desjardins, Madie Elsner, Addison Lee, Piper Lee, Emma Savidge, John Snider, Abby Spencer, Leah Taylor, Anna Veasey, and Ben Veasey!

Four Mighty Marlins represented the PNS at All-Star Meets at the end of this season.  Jeffrey Lozensky swam at Zones in Colorado.  Jeffrey was the leading distance man for PNS swimming the 200, 400, 800, and 1500 free as well as the 200 fly and 400 IM.  He achieved top 10 in both the 200 fly and 400 IM!
