REGISTRATION OPENS MAY 1ST!!!
Welcome Kraken swimmers! We are looking forward to a fun and exciting 2025 summer swim season. Registration will open to currently registered Developmental group swimmers and all kids NOT currently registered with PEAQ on May 1. Active members of PEAQ through the long course season in AG 1 or above do NOT have to register for Kraken if you want to participate in Kraken meets. Coach Royce or Coach Becky will be sending separate info out to AG1- Junior families regarding that.
The Kraken is our 2025 summer league swim team based out of Canon McMillan High School. Our mission is to promote competitive swimming in our community by providing an opportunity for kids to learn life-long skills, while participating in an exciting team sport. Our team of coaches will work hard to develop stroke technique and proficiency and to encourage good sportsmanship in a fun, team-oriented environment.
REQUIREMENTS
1. Swimmers must be ages 5 through 14 as of June 1, 2025.
2. Swimmers must be able to independently swim 25 yards (one length of the pool) of freestyle.
3. If your swimmer is NEW to the program, we are holding evaluations at the Canon McMillan high school pool on the following dates/times:
Mondays, May 5, 12, and 19 from 7:00 to 8:00pm
Thursdays, May 8, 15, and 22 from 7:00 to 8:00pm
Saturday, May 10th from 12:00 to 1:00pm

COST
Fees are $225. All swimmers will receive a Kraken cap, which is included in the registration fee.
- If your swimmer is a registered member of PEAQ through the long course season and is interested in Kraken, look for communication from Coach Becky or Coach Royce on how to sign up. You will sign up separately.
2025 PRACTICE SCHEDULE
Monday, June 2 through Tuesday, July 15.
Kraken AM: Mon, Tues, and Thursdays 9:30 to 10:30am
OR
Kraken PM: Mon, Tues, and Thursdays 5:00 to 6:00pm
***PLEASE NOTE*** You will have the choice to register for either AM or PM practices. You may only choose one, and you cannot mix and match!!!
All practices will be held at the Canon Mac High School pool.
