REGISTRATION OPENS MAY 1st!!!
Welcome Wahoo swimmers! We are looking forward to a fun and exciting 2024 summer swim season. Registration will open to currently registered Developmental group swimmers and all kids NOT currently registered with PEAQ on May 1. Active members of PEAQ through the long course season in AG 1 or above do NOT have to register for Wahoos if you want to participate in Wahoos meets. Coach Topher will be sending separate info out to AG1- Junior families regarding that.
The Wahoos are our 2024 summer league swim team based out of Upper St. Clair High School. Our mission is to promote competitive swimming in our community by providing an opportunity for kids to learn life-long skills, while participating in an exciting team sport. Our team of coaches will work hard to develop stroke technique and proficiency and to encourage good sportsmanship in a fun, team-oriented environment.
REQUIREMENTS
- Swimmers must be ages 5 through 14 as of June 1, 2024.
- Swimmers must be able to independently swim 25 yards (one length of the pool) of freestyle.
- If your swimmer has not participated in Wahoos in the past and is not a current club swimmer, please email Coach Topher to schedule a free evaluation.
COST
Fees are $210. All swimmers will receive a Wahoo cap, which is included in the registration fee.
- if your swimmer is a registered member of PEAQ through the long course season and is interested in Wahoos, look for communication from Coach Topher on how to sign up. You will sign up separately.
2024 PRACTICE SCHEDULE
Mondays and Thursdays from 5:00 to 6:00pm, and Saturdays from 11:00 to 12:00pm.
All practices will be held at the USC High School pool.
