Before you go any further, All divers MUST be current members of AAU to dive in our pool.  To join AAU, click here, and follow these steps: 1) Choose "Get a Membership", then "youth membership". 2) Select Diving. 3) Assign your membership to Pittsburgh Elite Aquatics, Club Code W3EFWF  This code must be attached to your membership. 4) AFTER registering with AAU, come back to the PEAQ website, and click the link to register below.   Any questions about this or the clinic can be directed to the instructor,

 

WHAT WILL BE TAUGHT?

 
This class teaches all levels of competitive one meter springboard diving.  From beginner basics and body control to advanced dives with higher degrees of difficulty.  A background in tumbling, gymnastics, trampoline, freestyle skiing, dance, or any other flip oriented sport (parkour??) is helpful but not required. Main goal is to prepare the athlete to compete in high school and/or AAU and USA Diving sponsored meets.
 
Each 4 week session consists of 8 total classes (2 classes/week).
 
DATES:
 
     Tuesdays,  November 12, 19, 26, and December 3
     Thursdays, November 14, 21, and December 3, and a make-up date to be determined by Coach Vernon once class begins, due to the 3rd Thursday falling on Thanksgiving.
 
TIMES:
  • 7:00 - 9:00 PM
SKILL LEVELS:  All skill levels welcomed

WHERE: Upper Saint Clair High School Pool (1825 McLaughlin Run Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15241)

  • Please note that PARENTS MUST REMAIN IN THE STANDS during the lesson. Under no circumstances are parents allowed on the pool deck!
COST:
  • $275 for 8 total lessons (120 minutes each).
 
LOCKER ROOM & POOL DECK POLICY
 
No parents will be permitted on the pool deck. If a child needs assistance getting dressed or with other bathroom needs, families are welcome to use the two restrooms in the hall located outside the pool area.

 
REFUND, CANCELLATION, & MAKE-UP POLICY
  • Refunds: No Refunds will be offered after the start of each session. 
  • Cancellation: If a lesson needs to be cancelled (by the instructor) for any reason, a make-up lesson will be scheduled.  The make-up lesson will be scheduled on the same day of the week and time as the canceled lesson, if and when possible.  There are no refunds for lessons cancelled by the participant.
  • Make-up Lessons: No make-up lessons are available for lessons missed by any registrants.
